Paltan’s box office collection is going very poor day by day. Considering the big name, J.P. Dutta, director who made movie like of Border (1997) and LOC Kargil (2003), the movie failed to create any buzz. It further falls in the weekdays. Paltan is based on border skirmishes and tensions between India and China during 1967. It has ensemble cast like Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Esha Gupta etc.
Paltan collected around Rs. 50 lakh on Tuesday i.e. 5th day from its opening and took total to Rs. 6.35 crore. It has got lower screen count as another 3 Hindi movies released simultaneously and Streeis also running very well in the box office.
