Madhumita Sarkar was born on 26 October 1992 (Age 28 as on 2020) in Kolkata, West Bengal. She completed graduated in philosophy from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. From childhood the actress was interested in Modeling, Acting.
Madhumita married to Saurav Chakraborty in 2015. She met Saurav in the set of Sobinoi Nibedon, her first serial. As per latest report the star couple has decided for divorce. In a interview to a news channel, Madhumita Said, “When a girl decides to marry someone, love is not the only thing on her mind. There’s much more to it. We had a thing for each other but somewhere down the line, we felt it wasn’t working out. It seems like we are not compatible anymore.”

Career
Madhumita Sarkar started her career with TV serial ‘Sobinoi Nibedon’ in the year 2011. The next year she appeared in another serial ‘Care Kori Na’. Both the serial were moderate successful.
In the year 2013, the actress appeared in the blockbuster serial ‘Bojhena Se Bojhena’. And everything changed. Madhumita got immense popularity from this show. Her role as ‘Pakhi’ has been appreciated by audience as well as critics. She has also became popular in Bangladesh.
The beautiful actress got another central character in her next serial ‘Kusum Dola’. Where she played the role of a village girl named as Imon Chatterjee. It also became super hit. Thereafter no look back.
